Pay your friends with their mobile number
In our app you can send money to your friends using their mobile number, even if they do not bank with Isle of Man Bank. Your friend will have to be registered for Pay Your Contacts to receive the money.
Make a payment using Pay Your Contacts
- Login to our mobile app
- Tap 'Payments' on the bottom of the home screen.
- Make sure the account displayed is set to the account that you want to make the payment from. You can swipe to change accounts or tap 'Change account'.
- Select 'Send money'
- Tap 'Pay Your Contacts'
- Choose a payee from 'Your contacts' or type in a contact name or number
- If the payee is registered for Pay Your Contacts, you'll be asked to confirm their name
- Enter the payment amount and reference
- Tap 'Continue'
- Complete the payment by tapping 'Make payment'
The person you are sending money to will receive a text to let them know a payment has been received.
Some important information
Pay Your Contacts lets you send maximum payment of £250 a working day, which is separate from daily withdrawal and Get Cash limits. Pay Your Contacts is available for customers on Android or iPhone.
