How do I update my device / Operating system?

You may have received a message suggesting that your device will no longer support our Mobile Banking App. If so, there are multiple ways to continue to bank with us:

  1. Firstly, you may check whether you can update your device operating system:
    - Android: Settings > Software update
    - iOS: Settings > General > Software Update
    *N.B. You may wish to select the “auto-update” or “auto-download” option so that you don’t have to check manually to update.
  2. If are unable to upgrade because you hold a device which is not compatible with the above Operating System; you can try to download and then register on another compatible device and download the latest app from the App Store.   3. If you are unable to use another device, you may continue to bank with us using Online banking: www.onlinebanking.iombank.com (opens in a new window)
