What is the widgets feature

Widget is a new space on the home screen where you can add tiles that surface key information and shortcut them into your favourite features. You will be able to choose from a selection of widgets that are available based on your account eligibility. More widgets will be available over time.

Is there any eligibility criteria for widgets

You will be eligible for the widget where the feature is currently available for you, e.g. If you are eligible for the Round Ups feature, then you will be eligible for the Round Ups widget.

Why have you introduced widgets

We have introduced widgets to give you the ability to make the app your own, surface key information at a glance and improve feature discoverability.

How can I add a widget to the home screen

When you log on to the app after a widget is released, if you are eligible then you will see a ‘Add a widget’ button under your account cards. If you tap on this, you will see an option for the widget you would like to add. Once you have at least one widget added, you can tap on ‘Edit’ next to the widget heading then tap on the other widget button.

How can I rearrange the widgets on the home screen

There are 2 ways to ‘rearrange a widget’. You can either tap and hold to see an option menu, then tap on rearrange and you will be able to drag and drop the widget or you can tap on the edit option next to the widgets heading, then tap on rearrange and use the up and down arrows to reorder your widgets as you prefer. Note where there is one widget you can't 'rearrange a widget' as there is only one.

What happens if I dont have Round Ups functionality turned on

When you attempt to add the round ups widget, it will prompt you to switch the feature on to see the widget.

What is the maximum number of shortcut widgets I can have

You can have up to 3 shortcut widgets.

What are the shortcut options I will see

You will only see what you’re eligible for. But the shortcut options are transferring money between your accounts, paying your credit card and viewing your credit card statements.

Can I have several of the same type of shortcut

Yes, in keeping with a maximum of 3 shortcuts, it is your choice for the type of shortcuts you configure, so you can have three different shortcuts for paying a credit card, for example, if you wish.

Can I remove a shortcut

Yes, you can choose to remove your shortcuts individually or remove the widget entirely.

Can I change my shortcuts

Yes, with keeping to a maximum of 3 shortcuts, you can either remove existing ones and configure new ones, OR you can reconfigure your existing ones.
