An account to manage multiple currencies

Cash Management account

Our multi-currency account

Our Cash Management account has no monthly account fee and is for holding and moving money across multiple currencies, not everyday spending. You can add a Fixed Term Deposit Savings account, which is automatically linked to your Cash Management account for funding and maturity payments.

Transfers, withdrawals and international payments are subject to daily payment limits and may incur fees.

The key features of our Cash Management account

Hold and manage multiple currencies - Access most major currencies, including US Dollars and Euros, within a single account.

Make international transfers - Use the SWIFT network to transfer money securely to overseas bank accounts.

Grow your savings - Open a Fixed Term Deposit to grow your savings over a fixed period, available in a range of currencies.

Move money betweeen accounts - Transfer funds between accounts held in your name or make a payment to another bank account.

How do I pay in or take out money from my account?

This account is for managing funds rather than everyday spending, so you can’t pay in or take out cash or cheques.

You don’t need to give notice to move money out of your Cash Management account.

You can pay money in or take money out of your account by:

  • Transferring money to or from another account you hold with us.
  • Sending a payment to or from another bank, including overseas banks.

There are daily limits on the amount you can transfer from your account.

Can I earn interest on this account?

No, the Cash Management account does not pay interest. We only pay interest on a Fixed Term Deposit; you can open a deposit once your account is open.

A Fixed Term Deposit lets you lock in a set interest rate for a fixed period, so you’ll know exactly how much your money will earn.

You’ll earn interest on your Fixed Term Deposit at the times shown on your deposit confirmation. If no schedule is listed, we’ll pay it when your deposit matures.

Fixed Term Deposit

When applying for a Cash Management account, you can place a Fixed Term Deposit once the account is opened. You'll be able to fix a deposit in Sterling and other currencies with a fixed rate of interest. Once your account is open we'll send you instructions on how to fix your deposit.

  • Fixed rates over a fixed term, so you know what you'll earn
  • A term to suit you - either 3, 6, 12 or 24 months
  • Start saving with balances from £5,000 or $10,000
