What changes can I make?

You can easily manage your business account signatories using our mandate forms below. You can:

  • Add or remove signatories
  • Update details for existing signatories
  • Change the signing rules for your account

To avoid any delays, please choose the correct form for your business or organisation.

Tips for completing a mandate form

When filling out the mandate form, please follow these steps:

  • Use black ink when signing the form.
  • If you need to make any changes after printing, just use black ink and initial any updates.
  • Don't shorten, abbreviate or change your business or trading name.

If you're adding or changing a signature, we'll need:

  • Photo ID, like a passport or driving licence.
  • Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.

To avoid any delays, please choose the correct form for your business or organisation.

To add, change, or remove signatories for a sole trader, please complete our Third Party Mandate form. The form includes guidance notes on completing the form.

 

Does the new signatory require a debit card or access to online banking?

If you want new signatories to have a debit card or access to online banking, please fill out the relevant form(s) below. Please keep in mind that they will receive full access, which is not limited by the signing rules in your mandate.

You must submit a separate application for each individual who needs access to online banking.

 

Once you’re ready, please print and sign the completed mandate(s). Take these along with the necessary documents to your nearest branch. Please mark this for the attention of Business Banking Amendments Team.

To add, change, or remove signatories for a Partnership, please complete our Partnership Customer Mandate.

You'll also need to provide an up-to-date list of Members/Partners along with the completed mandate.

 

Does the new signatory require a debit card or access to online banking?

If you want new signatories to have a debit card or access to online banking, please fill out the relevant form(s) below. Please keep in mind that they will receive full access, which is not limited by the signing rules in your mandate.

You must submit a separate application for each individual who needs access to online banking.

You'll also need to include a copy of the minutes from a recent meeting, like an AGM, that confirms the appointment of the new signatories. Please return this along with the completed mandate.
